Cost: $300

Cost includes one 2.5×6 table, breakfast and lunch for 3 attendees.

Early Bird Registration Cost: $275 Deadline: November 30, 2008

Late Registration Cost: $325 Deadline: January 31, 2009,

In 2008 over 119 employers attended and were greeted by 1000 students seeking full time, intern and co-op positions!

The day of the fair, packages will be transported from storage and delivered to Barton Hall at 6am. For return shipment, FedEx, DHL, and UPS will pick up packages in designated areas in the back of Barton Hall at 4 pm. Your packages must be securely closed and prepaid return shipment labels firmly affixed.

Networking Event

The Networking Event is on February 16 from 7-10 pm in the Statler Hotel Ballroom.
Pre-Registration is required, contact: ESC (ecouncil@cornell.edu)
Employer Fee is: $50
Student Fee is: $5, student tickets are available beginning February 2, 2009 in Duffield Hall.

The Networking Event will be a happy-hour sort of event with light refreshments. It provides an additional opportunity for employers and students to talk to each other. This event replaces the Networking Dinner that was done in prior years.

Info Sessions, Interview Rooms and Posting Jobs

Information Sessions
Many employers will want to do info sessions while they are on campus, you are encouraged to contact a student group on this list to host your event.

Interview Rooms
Many employers will want to conduct interviews the day after the fair of students they meet at the fair, as well as from resumes they receive from jobs they post through the career office. There is a limited number of interview rooms available, therefore it is important that you make your reservations early by contacting Ami Stuart at 607-255-1069, or emailing eng-recruiting@cornell.edu

Travel and Parking

Air Travel

Ithaca Airport (ITH) is located 8 minutes from campus.

Syracuse Airport (SYR) is located 1 hour, 17 minutes from campus.

From NYC
We suggest the Campus-to-Campus luxury bus service. The bus provides twice daily non-stop service between Weill Cornell Medical College & the Cornell Club (near Grand Central Station) and Cornell’s Ithaca Campus. Arrival/Departure locations include: Sage Hall and North Campus. The bus has wireless Internet and AC/DC power, as well as coffee, snacks and work space.

Parking
Visitor parking is very limited, we suggest that you use one of the transportation services listed below to get to and from campus or use any hotel shuttle services provided. If you are staying at the Statler Hotel on campus you can use their valet service. We have a limited number of parking permits available for the Hoy Parking Garage, these will be provided on a first-come first serve basis, with a one permit per company limit.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Statler Hotel located on the Cornell Campus.

Career Fair Agenda

 6.00 am: All packages delivered to Barton Hall

 7:00 am: Barton Hall opens for employers to begin set up, please use the west entrance to Barton (Entrance that faces Teagle Hall and Lynah Rink).

7:30 am:Breakfast is available to recruiters at the Statler Hotel

 9 am: Official start of fair

 11am-1pm: Lunch is available for Employers

 For employers who are alone, a box lunch can be delivered to you at your booth, simply complete an order form in the morning when you arrive at Barton Hall.

 3 pm: Official end of Fair

 4 pm: FedEx, DHL, and UPS arrive to pick up packages
